Kshara Sutra:
Ligation by especially prepared thread for management of piles, fistula, warts.

Ksharakarma is one of the minimal invasive surgical measures. Ksharasutra treatment is one of the types of ksharakarma.

Ksharasutra is a medicated thread, which is coated with mixture of latex of different kshiri plant like snuhi, arka, and haridra powder. Ksharasutra treatment as para-surgical measures is indicated in the nadivrana, bhagandara, piles. Kshara sutra in haemorrhoids works on the principle of pressure necrosis.

Ksharasutra is also used in cases of fistula-in-ano. In this procedure specially medicated thread / sutra is tied tightly around the fistulous track, which will gradually transect the muscle by pressure necrosis and the fibrosis fixes and prevents retraction of the sphincter.



Leech therapy:
Therapeutic application of leach for letting the vitiated blood.

The procedure involves allowing a medicinal leech to grasp the affected area and suck the impure blood for 30-45 minutes

Using fire/hot substances as a special management approach.

To mobilize and wither out obstinate growths on the skin like acne, warts, benign tumours, including pile mass and fistula in ano.

People with chronic benign tumours on the skin, outgrowths on the skin like warts, keloids, scar tissues, overgrown moles etc. intractable pile mass, Fistula in ano, non healing ulcers, abscesses, skin lesions (like pigmentation disorders, psoriatic patches) are subjected to this treatment.




Ksharakarma:
