1. What is the registration procedure?
Patient visiting the hospital for the very first time needs to get registered .A Registration Card is issued and a Personal Hospital file will be automatically created.
2. What is the Admission Procedure?
The patients who are advised to get admitted are shown the accommodations available and once the patient selects the accommodation the Administrator will provide a cost estimate for the Hospital stay based on the accommodation selected. The final bill may vary from this amount. The request for the deposit amount would depend on the type of treatment or service advised. The date of admission is fixed based on the patient’s convenience.
3. What are the treatments given at the hospital?
The treatments given are as follows:
a. Panchakarma and other ayurvedic treatments
b. Special Ayurvedic treatments like Pizhichil, Aschyothanam, Navara Kizhi, Gandoosham, Dhanyamla dhara etc.
c. Para surgical Procedures like Kshara Karma, KsharaSutra, Leech therapy, Agnikarma
d. Physiotherapy
e. Yoga therapy
f. Acupuncture
5. What are the kinds of Accommodations available?

6. What is the hospital infrastructure?
I-AIM Healthcare Center is a 100 bed healthcare facility, consisting of twenty five beds in general ward, forty beds in semi private rooms, twenty seven single rooms, four deluxe rooms and four suite rooms. It has a modern diagnostic lab and radiology unit. It also has a opthalmology unit and a full fledged pharmacy.
7. What is the room tariff?
- Semi private : Rs. 600 per bed
- Private : Rs. 900
- Deluxe Room: Rs. 2000
- Suite Room :Rs. 3000
- Male and female general ward : Free
8. What is the consultation fee?
The consultation fees is Rs.250 for specialists and Rs 150 for other doctors, but if the patient is coming for the first time then the patient needs to get registered by paying a sum of Rs.50.
9. What are the treatment charges?
The treatment charges vary as per the type of treatment. Sometimes cancellation or addition of treatment will be decided by the doctor and this may vary with the estimate cost given in the beginning.
10. Who are the specialists visiting the hospital?
Three specialists visit our hospital every month. The doctors visiting us are Dr. Vilas Nanal for cardiology, Dr. B.G.Gokulan for ophthalmology, Dr. D.P.Gadgil for nephrology, Dr. Vasudevan Namboodari for Kaya Chikitsa, Dr. Yogidas for Marma Chikitsa.
11. Is there a canteen facility?
Yes there is a canteen facility which caters the to hospital staff, Patient’s attendants and visitors.
12. How far is the Hospital from the Railway station, Bus stand and airport?
It is about 25 kms from the railway station and bus stand and 23 kms from the Bangalore International Airport.
13. How many doctors are serving the hospital?
There are 15 doctors and 6 specialists serving in the present hospital.
14. What are the visiting hours?
Visiting Hrs:
10am to 7pm
15. Will the disabled people also be given admission?
All the disabled patients getting admitted here are supposed to bring their own attendants to take care of their personal needs. At present, the hospital is not in a position to provide the service.
16. What are the things a patient needs to bring while getting admitted?
We encourage you to bring along any items that will enhance the comfort of your stay: your personal Toiletries (toothbrush, soap, shampoo, towels), slippers, robes, reading and writing material etc
Do refrain from bringing valuable items, as hospital is not responsible for stolen or missing items.
17. What kind of diet is provided to the patients?
Personalized and customized diet as per the Ayurvedic principles are provided to the patient by specially trained cooks.
Diet and the regimen are based on the physician’s advice.
The diet is the integral part of patients medication hence foods from outside sources are discouraged.
18. Is there a facility to provide food for attendants and visitors?
A well established in house canteen caters to the needs of the attendants and visitors too.
19. How can one get an appointment for a follow up consultation?
For an IP patient on discharge an appointment card with the time of your out patient follow up visit will be given to the patient upon discharge along with discharge summary and medications and dietetic instructions.
For Op patients they can get appointment for follow up consultation when they are consulting the doctor or through Phone.
20. What are free community camps?
IAIM Health Care Centre is conducting Ayurveda medical camp at rural areas every 4th Saturday. We have conducted about 30 camps with 1700 patients being reported.
21. Is it true that leeches are poisonous?
The leeches are broadly classified into non-poisonous and poisonous categories. The medicinal leeches are non-poisonous and are in not harmful to the body.
22. What are the discharge formalities?
Once the treating doctor confirms that the patient is fit for discharge, different departments work together the discharge process. The process can take 3 hours, so please plan ahead accordingly. When planning to depart, we request you and your family to please allow enough time for us to complete these formalities.
23. What are the things you need to make sure before you leave the hospital?
Before you move out make sure,
- You have checked the wardrobe, bedside furniture and bathroom for personal items.
- You have received prescription and diet from your doctor and do you understand his/her instructions.
- You have returned your feedback form with suggestions?
