Institutional Profile:
The Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (I-AIM) has launched a new 100 bed Research Hospital in Bangalore to implement Ayurveda’s classic, holistic treatment principles, complemented by state-of-the-art bio-medical diagnostics, information technology tools, and bio-statistics.
I-AIM is an initiative of the Foundation for Revitalization of Local Health Traditions (FRLHT), established in 1993, as a non-profit public trust by Sam Pitroda and Darshan Shankar. Since its inception, FRLHT has made significant contributions to Medicinal Plant Conservation; Traditional Knowledge Informatics; Pharmacognosy and Product Development; Good Clinical Practice; Community Health and Literary Research. It has won several National and International awards.
I-AIM research hospital aims to revitalize India’s medical heritage by establishing innovative and contemporary forms of health services in rural and urban India, and globally.
Vacancies:
Heads of Department (HOD) for:
i) Prasuti & Stree Roga
ii) Rasayana Tantra (including Geriatrics) and
iii) Shalya (including Post Operative Care & Rehabilitation).
Job Profile:
HODs will have track records of clinical competence and high ethical standards. As part of the hospital’s clinical leadership team, they will be responsible for young physician’s CME, mentoring and building clinical teams of consultants, registrars and duty doctors, and implementing NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals) standards in their respective departments. Registrars will support their HODs in their functions.
Compensation: Competitive Education and Experience:
Heads of Department (HOD) BAMS or MD with 15-20 years of clinical experience in their specialties; teaching and/or research experience would be an additional advantage.
